Description

Antique 1920s Emil J. Paider Leather Barber Chair, Fully Restored
This item was manufactures by The Emil J. Paider Barber Chair Company in the late 1920s. It features the adjusted/removable headrest, the round seat, and Art Deco style fretwork on the base and foot rest. The chair has been beautifully restored - the leather has been replaced with a burgundy tufted style, although the actual flocking is original, and all the metal and porcelain has been repainted and sealed in shades of black, burgundy, and gold. The chair works beautifully, both pump and swivel base. The base has been completely replaced so there is no serial number available for reference.
The chair measures 48" high, with a 12" reach on the fully extended head rest. It is 36" long,, with the foot rest open, 33" when it's closed, and 32" wide. The seat is 24" in diameter. It weighs between 250 and 275 lbs.
This restored item is in excellent excellent condition with little to no visible signs of age or wear. Please consult all images and message with any questions.
