    Description

    Geo. W. Archer barber's chair restored.  Patented May 21, 1878.  This model was the first one piece reclining barber chair with an attached footrest manufactured in the USA. (According to the Archer website).  Footrest reads "Geo. W. Archer Manufacturer, Rochester, New York. U.S.A., Patented May 21, 1878".  Made all in cast iron and wood, comes with two original headrest, handsomely reupholstered.  Recline mechanism works with two positions - upright and reclined, see pic.  In the pics the chair feet are setting on furniture sliders.  Perfect for man cave, tattoo parlor or any place you choose.  Local pick up only.  Located in West Tennessee, near Jackson, TN.  Any and all questions are welcome.
