Emil J. Paidar 1900s  Antique Barber Chair original. This chair has been in my collection since 1969 when the original owner retired at 87. Other than new leather everything else is original. Chair fully functional, hydraulic fluid removed before it was transported from New York to Florida in 2012. The porcelain is in excellent condition all metal parts original used condition never chromed or shined. This is a great piece for your man cave or barber shop as a conversation piece.  Weight approximately 200 lbs. Local pick up available.  Buyer pays shipping.
The Emil J. Paidar Company was based in Chicago and had been the leading manufacturer of barber chairs until the late fifties. The company has been making these chairs since the early 1900’s. As the market leader, Paidar’s designs were generally the baseline and were often imitated by competing manufacturers.
